Texas Group Health Insurance

Texas Group Health Insurance

Major Medical Health Insurance for Groups of Any Size
Group Health Insurance for the Self-Employed

Texas group health insurance premiums have been going through the roof. Small employers have been forced to cut or entirely eliminate benefits. We offer plans in a number of states and Texas health insurance premiums are some of the highest in the nation.

If you want to keep your rates down, we can help. I do not believe that any carrier can beat our group rates. Plus, we post them right on this website.

The rates are the same regardless of:

Age - It does not matter if you group is comprised of individuals who are all 25 or 55. The rates do not change with age. No surprises as the group ages.
Sex - Females employees are generally much more expensive in traditional Texas group health insurance plans. Our plans are gender neutral and once again, everyone pays the same premium.
Health - We do not care if all of your employees run the marathon or if they are on life-support. The rates do not go up based on the health experience of the group.
Location - Austin, Dallas, San Antonio are all the same. Actually are rates are the same in all 18 states where we offer the plan.

We have a unique approach to Texas group health insurance that differs from everyone else. Go ahead and get rates from whatever carriers you want. Then compare them to the rates on this website. You do not have to fill out a long census or jump through hoops to get a quote. They premiums are on this web page for anyone to see.

Take a few minutes and read through this page. Look at the plans and the rates. Then, if you think that we can save you money, give us a call. We can insure self-employed individuals. Groups of one or groups of five hundred are no problem.

Texas Group Health Insurance Premiums

As I promised, here are the Texas group health insurance rates. The group of one or two rates appear higher. However, there are some unique tax deductions that can be used with these plans that make the net rates much lower. I do not want to get into a tax discussion on this page but I would be glad to email a tax advice letter from our tax attorney that discusses it in some detail.

The smart buy on these plans are the Silver and HSA plans. If you are worried about the deductibles, we can give you a supplemental plan that will pay the deductibles and still give you a considerable price advantage over the Gold Plan.

More Details

The above plans are offered through a PEO (Professional Employer Organization). You are probably more familiar with the terms "employee leasing" or "co-employer".

The PEO is in effect, a co-employer. They will issue you a W2 at the end of the year. You still do whatever it is you do, work for your present company (or yourself) and nothing changes. But, by having the PEO become your co-employer, you can take advantage of their large group rates.

If you are currently getting killed on workman's compensation rates, the PEO will generally have much lower rates for you.

By the way, the PEO will manage a 401K for you, provide disability insurance, life insurance, etc. If you would like to see better illustration of the plan, go to our other website, group health insurance illustration.
